i have signed up for a few biggies! Last Sunday Dunedin had its first Market in the Reserve so i thought i would give it a shot. Turned out the weather was soooo windy 3/4 of the venders decided not to set up. but i am glad i went along i met some lovely stall holders including Nicola and Julia from GingerPye they specialized in handmade reausable sandwich wraps. Very cool idea. I sold a few soaps and more importantly it got me reved up and i was very productive preparing lipbalms, handcreams, signs which is fantastic because those of you who know me i am a very last minute sort of person. In 2 weeks time i have my first real big market The Victorian Fete in Oamaru 21st November I have so much prep to do before then so this was a great practice market run!

It is an exciting time of year!
I love this time of year, all the spring flowers are in full swing, long sunny days, barbeques, but even more exciting for me this year is all the upcoming markets in the build up to christmas!!

Meaning Behind the Name
Honey and Spice. Obviously comes from the natural ingredients which i love to use in my soaps. My Spice rack is tetering with treasures and is a great source of inspiration. Also the name came about with one of my favourite childhood nursery rhymes. I have found my childhood such a huge source of inspiration and every soap is linked to a sweet memory. I always remember the food!
My creations are all about honesty, simplicity, and are so interesting on so many levels i work on your taste buds, scent, visual appeal, and i work with textures on your touch
